Hi Guys,

Is any OOTB available to generate random alphanumeric code.

Hi Hareesh,

I don't find any OOTB rule to generate the alphanumberic unique code for your purpose, but you can customize the existing rule as explained over here as per your requirement.

If you can compromise on the alphanumeric functionality to just numeric unique code then you can have a look into pxRandom like functions.

Hi Hareesh, 

As Mahesh said , I too was unable to find any OOTB rule to generate the alphanumberic unique code for your purpose.

But I have written an activity that can serve your purpose.

Please see the screen shot below.

 

We can write the same logic using UUID also, but that is somehow taking a more time when compared to the above logic.

Please find the logic attached..
