Only update specific columns during an obj-save/commit

Hi All,

Is there any way Pega can only update changed values or specific columns when saving a work object?

We have some custom DB triggers that fire on row update, but we only want them to fire when specific fields are updated. Currently, pega will trigger an update on every column in a row when saving to the database causing our triggers to fire when we don't want them to.

The DB trigger should be able to check if the old value is the same as the new value.

For the Pega platform, the obj-save will re-write the entire row including the BLOB which is its source of truth.
