Online Exercise System for SSA
Hi,
Do we have any online exercise system for the Senior System Architect for Pega v 7.2 ? i am not able to see the option for the same in the exercise pages for the corresponding lesson.
please guide.

No you will want to use the SSA 7.2 image as there have been some assets that have been added.

The exercise system is available under the Related Content on the right hand panel of the Before you Begin lesson:
Make sure to also look at the Virtual Machine User Guide under the Downloading the Exercise System lesson. This will guide you in correctly setting up your virtual machine.

Hi Sean
Is there any known issue with SSA_721_VM_20170202?
Because in 7.21 VM does not display Parameter like in Page 23 of Senior System Architect Exercise Guide 041917

This is a known issue. Since you made a change to the data page you will need to clear the contents of that field and re-enter the D_HRPlanList again. Once you do this you should see the parameter field and you will be able to enter Param.Type in the field.

As my laptop does not support virtualization, so i'm looking for any alternative to VM. Is it possible for Pega to provide rulesets, applications, other artifacts that we can import on local pega environment. I think it would be of less size and useful for large number of users who want to practice SSA.

The issue we have with providing the initial import is that we want to make sure the version of Pega you are using matches the version the course was designed on. SSA was designed on Pega 7.2.1. Do you have access to that version? Can you confirm by including a screenshot. I want to make sure the exercises will work as designed.
Is there any way you can request a laptop from your company that does support virtualization?
