Node Level Data Pages becoming stale randomly
Hi,
Greetings. We have a read-only Node Level Page implemented (we have 6 nodes). The page is becoming stale randomly and creating a fresh page. We did not have any Expire strategy in the Load Management within Data Page, we are on Pega 7.1.7. Any suggestions or anyone aware of similar issue, please let me know. The application is now in Production, I would wait for feedback before raising an SR with Pega.

From the help system,
Node scope – This setting applies to read-only data pages. If the check box is selected, the system checks the Reload if older than fields on the Load Management tab of the data page rule. If the fields are blank, the system uses the value of the dynamic system setting DeclarePages/DefaultIdleTimeSeconds, which is set by default to 86400 seconds, or one day.
You can change the timeout period from 24 hours (86,400 seconds) to a larger or smaller value by adding a setting to the prconfig.xml file in the following format:
<env name="DeclarePages/DefaultIdleTimeSeconds" value="nnnnn" />
In the current scenario, no expiration strategy is configured so it may refresh per 24 hours.

Hi,
This is Aunjan. I am from same team.
The check box 'for Clear pages after non-use' is not checked. Though it is stale.
In our scenario, if a user didn't do anything on a node till 10 mins, the node level data page automatically reach in a STALE position. After a while, if user loggedin again then the page get refresh.
If the page is accessed frequently(used within 10 mins), then the page is not refreshed.

Clear Page after non-use setting would be appliable for requestor level pages I believe. This setting will clear data pages if it is being shared by one or more PRThreads.
