No service methods in channel service package | facebook chatbot |
Hello everyone,
i am trying to configure facebook chatbot as per the steps provided in - https://pdn.pega.com/configuring-facebook-chatbot
i get an error at the step to configure the callback URL, the channel service package shows no service methods, could that be the reason?

In the Callback URL field, enter the URL for your Pega Platform instance where you defined your new Facebook channel, for example: http://sample.pega.com:8080/prweb/PRHTTPService/channel/srv/fb

Hi Animesh,
Pls perform the below changes:
1. Add FacebookChannel RS in your own application as App Ruleset
2. Open the service package and update the access group from PRPC:Administrator to your own application access group.
3. Save the service package and click on the refresh methods button.
I have done the above steps and it worked.

I can configure the facebook chatbot. But when testing it and hitting the chat, the Pega log is showing "Service URL was not provided". Below is the screenshot.
Can you throw some light?
Do i need to use "https://<server>/prweb/PRHTTPService/channel/srv/fb" only or i can use my own service in my own ruleset?
