need technical help on RPA and RDA
Hi All,
i went through the posts related to RPA and RDA , understood the concept.
but iam not understanding if its differentiated based on whats implemented in studio or do we really have to have different set of studio which will allow to create RPA automations.
i found some RPA related details to be added during installation, but i missed it.
should i go ahead and do some RPA necessary settings in the studio?
if yes , does RPA compatible studio have some different options for me to perform? example iam trying to read webmail from current version of studio(May be RDA) but i don't find anything otherthan outlookcomponent and SMTP there.
above query is deriving me with all these doubts with the hope that RPA compatible studio will provide me certain additional components to handle these at deployment level.
Please suggest me to explore on right path.

You can set your configuration in the common and runtime configs after installation, that should get you back on the right foot.

The settings for RDA/RPA that are set during installation allow you to connect with the instance of the Pega Platform that you are using so that your Pega application can interact with your Robots. If you are not using Pega applications, then you do not need to enable these settings. Even in the case that you are using it, the Pega Robotic Automation Studio IDE can still be used for any automation projects that do not involve RPA/RDA, therefore, you only need one instance of Studio.
