Need table row count after user adds row w/o chckg source-D_page. How to implement properties totalRecords or tableSection2_Count?

Hi Pega folks.

I need to count all a table's rows after the user adds a row without going back to count the pxResults of the source datapage. I saw a couple posts that suggested using properties totalRecords (https://collaborate.pega.com/question/need-display-grid-count) or tableSection2_Count (with solution https://collaborate.pega.com/question/counting-rows-html-table-section). Need help implementing these.
