Need design to show to data in a table
Hi , How to call one existing D page, and based on the result of it, I need to call a RD ,and out put of RD , I need to show in a table in UI, please suggest optimized design, thanks
Edit- So user will enter a value, this value should call D page and output of D page will call RD, and output of RD we need to present.

@sharadk42 Lets consider you are displaying data of a specific field using drop down/Auto Complete. Source for these controls is D_Page or any list type. Once user click on these controls data will be retrieved from DB Table and will be displayed to user on the UI. The value that user selects will be the source to RD whose source is some other table.
Approach-1:
Create a section in any class and in that section take two layouts in which one of the layout contains the dropdow/autocomplete control. Configure this with the data page. On-change refresh the section.
Create one more section in the same class where the main section-1 is created and configure Repeating grid in the section with source and Report Definition(This RD should be parameterized, pass the value that user selected to this ). Configure the grid with the required attributes that should be displayed to the user.

You could achieve this easily by using Page-List property using Copy From Data Page data access pattern.
In pagelist property select data access pattern as Copy From data Page option and select your data page name.. For this data page input parameter should be the value which user selected in first drop-down.
Use this pagelist property as a source for table, where you need to display results based on first drop down value.
When user changes the drop-down value, in respective field action set just refresh the table sourced section... Pega will automatically refresh the data page and will load the needed result into pagelist property and section results also will get updated.. This will help you in performance wise also, data page will get refreshed only when input parameter changes, the configured pagelist value will get refreshed only when input parameter of data page gets changed.
Note - Don't source Report Definition directly as a source to table layout, it will impact performance.. RD will try to get information from data base whenever any refresh happens irrespective of input value changes, it will not use any cached data..
