Need a custom URL scheme to integrate with another app via websocket port on iOS

I am trying to integrate with a trimble R1 in order to get accurate GPS coordinates. To do that I want to connect to Trimble Mobile Manager an app that provides a way to push data via websockets. We have deployed pega as a mobile app for the iOS already. The data comes in through a blob and will need to be parsed. I can handle that the problem I'm having is that in order to create that websocket connection I need a Custom URL scheme defined. I don't seem to be able to create that via the plist file since I can't find it.
