Need assistance with attaching the pyCaseAttachments in data-portal

Hi,

How to implement pyCaseAttachment in Data-Portal?

I followed this approach :- pyCaseAttachments is in work- Iam trying to copy that from work- to data-portal but iam unable to save that sections or data.Please help me in this,how can i approach for attaching the pyCaseAttachments in data-portal.

Hello Haritha,

Any OOTB instances which are starting with px,py,pz  are reserved and it should be used in the same class .

Moreover if you forcefully save the pyCaseAttachments section it have inner repeating grids inside which are all saved in work- and it's child instances ,so these classes you need to make adjustment .

Actually my requirement is to create that attachment section in Data-Portal.Any suggestions regarding this?

Hi Kankanalah,

Agreed with Arun, why to save pyCaseAttachments section in Data-Portal. You can use it as it is (in Work-). pyCaseAttachmentsTopWrapper section is embedded into pyCaseAssets, you can check the hierarchy and based on your requirement you can reuse them.

Hi Haritha,

pyCaseAttachements section is using some grids inorder to display the cases and subcases attachments of the corresponding work object, so it uses the properties and classes related to the Work-. May we know what is your business requirement in moving the pyCaseAttachments section into the Data-Portal as it is related to the work objects attachments information. So what you are planning to display in this section, if it is work object related then you need to create all the necessary rules into the Data-Portal before saving the pyCaseAttachments section.
