Modifying the color of Menu on mouse hover
Hello Guys,
I want to modify the color of attached menu on mouse hover.
I have modified everything related to the active background on the application skin (by choosing Menu Standard Skin) , but, in vain.
Can you please help me to find the right place on the skin?

Hello Rosy,
Under the Menu Component style in the skin -> Select the style you require -> Menu Items and change styles for Active text. Here you can manually add the styles or create a mixin. Check existing mixin "Menu Active" for sample. You need to re-login to observe the changes made.

Hi Mounika,
I have tried it (confi.jpg) and I have obtained attached (skin.jpg).
Pega considers it active upon clicking on the menu item and not on mouse hover.
How to change it on hover wihout clicking on it?

Could you please give it a try using mixin. Also, please check whether you have also applied Active Background under Menu items in the used format.

Hi Mounika,
I'm facing similiar issues . I have configured the menu with navigation rule. On hover, the color of the menu items are getting changed. Example. The original background color of the menu is in Black and on hover it is getting changed to White. I do not want the change in menu background color on hover.
Checked in skin as well. There were no options to modify the menu background color changes on hover. Please help

Hello Divya,
In the mixin format, you can make the color of the active and inactive background same, which will not be then highlighted on hover.

You can define an :hover style in UserWorkForm or in a non-auto generated section for the concerned men. Please make sure to use a unique identifier for the concerned menu item.

Hi,
By any chance if you were able to resolve your issue. If so it would be great if you can provide us the resolution, because even i'm facing the same and not able to find the option in skin rule to change hover background colour when mouse is moved.
