my model dialog box submit is not working.

Use the Pega default harness(when you are creating a case type default section and harness are created in the UI pages). Save as that Pega default harness and add your section to that one. try it. It will work.

Please verify the modal button (pzModalButton) has not been modified or replaced in any way?
pzModalButton is an autogenerated control and is configured to work specifically with Modal dialogue boxes and it should not be modified because:
- It is a Final rule (pz)
- pxButton cannot replace the OOTB pzModalButton in a Modal dialog box
