mistakenly prweb undeployed for LSA course practice
Hi,
While practicing IAC concepts mistakenly undeployed prweb from tomcat and am not able to access exercise through virtual machine. is there any way i can access it?

You can access the tomcat manager to redeploy prweb. The welcome screen (http://ipaddress:9080) gives information on how to access the manager.

Did we get the solution for this?
We get the tomcat Manager screen and there is an option for War deploy as well. Even providing the correct path, it is not working. Can you confirm. thanks

You need a copy of the war file to deploy as this was deleted when undeploying. If you do not have a copy, you can get it from another image (it is in the directory /opt/tomcat/webapps) and access using WinSCP or alternatively email [email protected] and we can email a copy of the war file for this configuration.

I ran into the same issues when troubleshooting a JVM memory leak. I ended up undeploying the /prweb. Should we use the prsysmgt.war file? Please see the attachment as a reference.

If /opt/tomcat/webapps/prweb is accidentally removed you will need to do the following:
1) download a new PVS,
2) cd opt/tomcat/webapps
3) tar -zcvf prweb.gz prweb
4) copy prweb.gz to your laptop using WinSCP
5) copy that file to you original PVS using WinSCP
6) cd opt/tomcat/webapps
7) gzip -d prweb.gz
