Minimum Client Side Hardware Requirements
The customer's standard memory for client workstations are 1.2 GB.
Logging in to Pega 7.4 Designer Studio in any supported browser (Latest versions of IE, Firefox, Chrome) from these client workstations show poor performance.
When logged in via a client workstation with sufficient memory (8GB), there are no issues with performance.
The customer asks, what is the minimum memory requirement of client workstations for:
1. Developers (Users of Pega Designer Studio)
2. Regular Users (Users of production application)

Hi,
For Developpers I know that when using more than 2GB used by designer studio Chrome will fail (happen regularly to few peoples of my team opening a lot of rules in the day), so a destkop with 4GB should be enough.
For users it depends if you are allowing tabs or not. I not using tabs then it should not use that much. When using tabs totally depends on how much tabs you will allow them to have opened at the same time.
