Media Files for AES installation in Acceptance\Production

Recently we received media files for AES installation in Dev/Test Environment for our client and imported successfully.Kindly advice whether we can get another set of media files for production environment or we need to use the same media file which was received for Dev\Test environment but with the changes in configurations?

If its the same as Dev\Test enviorment, kindly advice on key points (e.g data source,JDBC settings ,URL etc )that we will have to consider during installation of AES in production from role perspective(WAS Admin, DBA admin and DevOPS) ?

Hi Nagaraj,

Thanks for posting on PSC.

You can raise a media request for getting another set of AES installation anytime. I think you don't need another set though you can use the same file.

Hi Asif,

Thanks for your Reply. Actually we will have to install 7.3.0 instance first and followed by SMA and AES instances in Prod\Acceptance environment.

Can you pls help me on below points.

1. Ear file -> its gonna be the same ear file which is been used for Dev\Test environment in this case or it needs a change.

2.What about the node and URL for Prod\Acceptance environment. This is something has to be discussed internally in the account or pega will provide that.

This is my first administration activity. So, wanted to confirm these thing. Kindly revert if you need any other details,

I think node and URL for Prod\Acceptance environment is an internal activity, for Pega Cloud customers, I think Pega could provide.

I will revert to your first question later, I need to do more research about it.
