Mashup - data-pega-event-onclose callback is not executing

We have deployed Mashup on sample application. We have two cases which will are loaded into individual gadgets (GadgetA and GadgetB).  Upon clicking on link in GadgetA, we are loading GadgetB using pega.web.api.doAction("createWork",....) api. When we finish processing case in GadgetB, it is expected to call callback function configured for attribute data-pega-event-onclose in the GadgetB div. The callback function is being executed when i'm on HTTP. When I'm on https the callback function is not executing.
