Map report using custom Property Values
Hi guys,
I have a requirement here to use a map report to display information based on the country of origin.
I have successfully mapped the client's property values to the World map and the data displays.
I am interested in changing the hover text to the Map Region instead of the Property Value for usability as the country name is more beneficial than the ISO code the client is providing as the map value.
Currently for example there is data from 50 countries, these countries appear as eg: USA: 10; GBR: 5; AUS: 20 etc.
Countries without data show as South Africa, India, Indonesia etc as you hover over them.
What would be the required change to display all countries to show as United States: 10; Australia 20; South Africa etc.?

I am not sure if the following suggestion will work or not.
Can you create a field value for each ISO code? The field value will associate ISO with the country name.
I never tested this. You can just pick one ISO code and give a try.

Hi Ben,
Based on this PDN article, https://docs-previous.pega.com/use-map-illustrate-report, the hover text is a "name and ratings" pair. The name is the property value from the Map Settings.
Can you change the property value in the Map Settings from ISO code to the country name? I doubt you can use 'Map Region' to display the hover text.

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your assistance, I went through the link provided when creating the map report.
Unfortunately my client receives the ISO codes from another system and is unable to change them. I will look into alternative ways to display the information
