In our application, we have a declare index and the id of the index is 32 characters (index_****_countrylist).

As a developer, we created many reports using this index but when a manager tried to create a report using "Create a new report" functionality it is throwing an error that the index size is more than 30 characters. we are on latest version of Pega 8.3.1 and the sytem is in live.

Spent a lot of time to debug the situation for an alternative solution but no extension available anywhere. In activity "pzUpdateAssociation" it sets prefix and later is thrown with an error in a validation.

Suggest possible solution.
