Lock issue

The locks on work objects are not getting released as user directly closes window. This leads the user gets displayed as locked by himself when he/she opens next time. 

How to handle such a situation.

Hi

When your end user directly close the window, the lock will not get released. This is expected. They need to log out in order to make sure that the lock is released. 

The best way to handle such situation is to warn your end user preferbly by using some alert configured to be displayed when someone tries to close browser window instead of log out .

Just to add to that, you can listen to JS window unload event and bring up either an alert or confirm dialog.
