Locally stored data for Robotic Automations

When robotic automations are running on end-users computers is the information from interrogated controls in adapters or the values of variables within the automation saved locally?

Of course this information would be saved in the runtime log files, but if the runtime logging was turned completely off would the information above be saved anywhere else?
