I added a link to the current assignment to an email, but upon clicking the email it simply takes you to what ever was the last page you had open in the portal after logging in. So, whether you last had another assignment open, the current assignment open, or the main page open it will take you to that screen. The url also never changes as you move through the different pages, it keeps the same set of parameters that were from the email's link.

This is the parameters after the main set of the link, but if when you were last logged in you were just looking at the main page of the portal it takes you there instead of the assignment.
