Likelihood Behaviour
Hi Team,
I have one flow with 4 connectors with end shape, each connector I have assigned Likelihood 25, there is no condition, all rules in same version, all rules in same class and rule set version also for all.
Test 1, Test 2, Test 3, Test 4 four flow actions
What is the execution process for the above scenario
While execution of the flow, I observed that all of the times Test 2 flow action got executed. I have given the Likelihood (25) same for the all the connectors.
Is that Pega Behaviour ?
Why not' executed the other connectors firstly?
Why executed first only Test Flow 2?
Please Any help?
Thanks
Ashok

@Bhumireddy Could you delete Test2 and observe if the behaviour is from right most to left.

Hi @BhanuPrakash_G No, It is going to Test 3 that means flow going to downward direction.

@Bhumireddy Could you swap connectors Test 3 and Test 4 and observe

I swapped the connectors, it is going to Test 4.
What I understand is that if Likelihood same for connectors , it will call randomly different connectors.
I think No solution and no answers for this kind of scenario.
Thanks,
Ashok

In real time we will not have this kind of scenario, giving same likelihood value for different connectors.
If in-case, we are giving the same likelihood value then Pega will take some random connector during run-time. We will not be able to see the logic how Pega picking the random connector also, it will be an internal code.

@Bhumireddy Hi Ashok,
When there are connectors with same likelihood system picks the connector randomly and they do not follow any order or pattern. The only pattern they follow is generating some random number from 1 through 100 and associating it randomly. PFB the screenshot:
Also, please take a look at the below link:
https://docs-previous.pega.com/directing-percentage-work-specified-processing-path
Also the other flow actions which are not displayed on the screen will be available in the actions menu in the case

Hi @SrinidhiM Thank you, Yeah I know, I am able to see other flow actions in action menu.
I have enable all the settings in tracer still I am not able to find Likelihood value in tracer.
How Can we see Likelihood value in Tracer, is there any settings in tracer settings.??
Thanks,
Ashok

@SrinidhiM I guess the concept of the screenshot to randomly select a connector by generating a random number will apply only when the connectors are emanating from a fork shape making use of condition type as percentage.
When the connectors are coming from an assignment the connector with high likely likelihood is always displayed on the UI while the others are available in the other actions.

@BhanuPrakash_G Hi Bhanu, Yes, that screenshot is for fork. if it is assignment then connector with highest likelihood is chosen, but if we have same likelihood for all connectors from the assignment then seems like it is picking randomly.
