                 I tried creating similar REST service in PEGA 7.x version which exactly gives the same JSON response as the 7.2.2 version. Whn called from jenkins also it hit the service but the could not parse the json. that was the error i was getting out of jenkins log. Is there anything I am missing.

                One basic question we have here is . I have 7.2.2 PE and in that, i tried hitting the url http://localhost:port/prweb/PRRESTSERVICE/sytemmanagement/v2/Export method with required parameters , product name , product version , asyn false ... The output of the response is a file downloaded in unknown format it looked similar to the product but i was not able to import that product. when i run the same service method from Intergration services-->Service REST--> Export-->RUn it run and gives me an JSON with status and stuff. How both the responses are different. Since the response of the get REST method is application/json. can you please clear me that. thanks in advance. basic question is

                  Export REST API function is to Create an JAR or product and downloads the same product file to the jenkins server

                  Import REST API function . what exactly it does. Does it get the RAP files from artifactories as html attachment or so. Later it imports it back to PEGA server
