Launching model dialogue conditionally

I have a requirement to launch model dialogue conditionally. So tried using the below script
pega.u.d.processAction("FlowActionName",'', "Rule-Obj-FlowAction",'','',true,this,"ModalTemplateName",'',this,'',"TemplateName",'','',true);
This is not helping. Though it works on Designer Studio but not via SSO test user logins.
Has anyone faced similar issue and how was it resolved.

Where are you looking to launch the Modal Dialog from? Is it from a button click on a case? If so can you provide a screenshot of the configuration that you have tried?
Please provide the complete information.
