Kofax integration with pega robotics

Can we integrate kofax with Pega robotics?

One thing you can do is to expose the automation as a web service and Kofax has capability to make Rest calls. So after your Kofax capture process runs and performs OCR you can invoke a Rest service on the automation side to kick of a process.

If we expose automation as webservice then automation should be in running before consume webservice. The questions are as below
1. If the automation is running on different machine then how to expose the automation webservice to access from other machines? I mean we need to deploy in IIS? If yes then how.
2. If those are in the same machine then how should I call the exposed webservice from other apps?
