Kill requestor threads based on name

Hello,

We have a scenario to find the requestor threads based on name and kill all the threads with that name.

If Threadname = "ThreadABC" and if there are 3 threads with that name, need to kill them.

Any suggestion please.

Hi Sundeep,

Which PRPC version you are on?

For 8.1, you can go to Admin studio and search for following API:

DELETE /nodes/{nodeID}/requestors/{requestorID}

Here, you need to provide the requestor ID you want to stop/delete

Hi Arvind,

Thanks for your reply.

I don't want kill the requestor. We just need to kill few of the requestor threads based on name.

We are on Pega 7.2V

Hi,

If a thread is 'stuck' running through rules, you can interrupt it via system management application or the underlying JMX API if you have a JMX client like jconsole, jmxterm or expose the mbean through the executeMBeanOperation SOAP service.
