JMS MDB Listener taking time to process messages

Hi,

We have a JMS MDB listener in our 7.1.8 application which processes incoming messages and populates a table.

User uploads documents to e-courier and this listener populates the notification table with some document details the e-courier sends to Pega post upload. But it is observed that it takes around 10-15 mins time after document upload that the notification table gets updated.

Can someone please help on this that what areas we can check to identify the issue and reduce this time?
