jdt.compiler.useSingleThread= true System Impact
Hi all,
Setting jdt.compiler.useSingleThread=true . How is this going to affect the Performance of Pega application? What is the reason to use SingleThread?
As far as I understood , jdt.compiler.useSingleThread= true the System does the compilation in a single thread.
There are rules in Pega which has java code been compiled every time the rule is being used.
So if I use this setting it will bring down the performance.

Hi Sankar,
Rule Assembly(compilation, etc..) process is done for the first time when the rule is referenced. As jdt.compiler.useSingleThread" property is used to control whether it should spawn additional compiler threads. In my opinion, this may cause little overhead.
Its good to do performance testing or usecase testing by capturing PAL readings(To understand RA time) by enabling this setting to understand the delay if any.
