Is it possible to interrogate Mainframe with emulator win6530 Tandem Machine?
Can anyone confirm whether the Pega robotics(openspan) is capable of interrogating the mainframes using the WIN3260 emulator(Tandem Machine) .
Crystal point- outside view to being used to connect to the Mainframe server or virtual machine.Which Textadapter can be used to interrogate this mainframe system?

We support most emulators that use winhllapi. Does this adapter support winhllapi? You should start with the generic winhllapi adapter to see if you can connect to the session.

I am not having information if it supports winhllapi but What I am looking for is a Tandem 6530 emulator.
Is there any information that can confirm if this emulator supports winhllapi and hence can be feasible for interrogation through available adaptor types in Pega robotics?

I do not have any knowledge of that application. You might consult with their support team to determine if it supports winhllapi (there would likely be a dll installed with it usually named winhllapi...dll). You might also need to onfigure the emulator to support it or installed something additional.

Hi,
I have asked the mainframe emulator vendor if they provide support to WINHLLAPI API, Below is the response received.
OutsideView doesn’t support WINHLLAPI but supports .NET api.We have published a series of videos you might find informative, they start off pretty simple but get deeper as they go. Since Pega Robotics is build using .Net framework, I hope that OutsideView emulator that supports .Net Api can be interrogated with the adaptors available in Pega Robotics.Can you please confirm regarding the same and also suggest us which text adaptor type can be used in this context?

The Pega Robotics integration with emulators is only done through WinHLLAPI. If you need support for other technologies, you can work with your account team to get this added as a feature request. You might also try switching to a different emulator such as Attachmate or IBM Pcom (or really any one that supports WinHLLAPI).
