Issues while working on CICD
HI Jayesh,
I am facing few issues while working on CICD.
1. I am using 7.4 version with 2 instances one for "Orchestration System" and one more for my "Dev System".
2. In the orchestration server i am logging i with "DMReleaseAdmin" operator id and the same same password i mentioned in "DMAppAdmin" auth Profile.
in my dev environment i have created a new application called "Deployment" for this application i have "PegaDevOpsFoundation" as build on application.
here is Dev system i set the same password for "DMReleaseAdmin" auth profile. I created Dynamic system settings in dev system mentioning orchestration URL.
3. I have configured my pipe line with Dev URL == (http://IN2272696W1:8080/prweb/PRServlet/) here i am using my personal edition as my Dev environment and application name == Deployment and version = 01.01.01. Please find the attached screen shot for Application details.
Here in environment details after giving DEV URL i am mentioning "DMReleaseAdmin" as a Auth profile.(Please find the attached screen shot)
4. Then in the environment URL i mentioned dev URL for "Quality Assurance" please find the attached screen shot for Environment Details.
5. In Dev environment i created a repository of type File System .(Please let me know whether File system will work or not as a repository)
After all this configuration when i try to start my deployment it showing few error while generating artifacts.Please find the attached screen shot for error .

In DeploymentManager 3.2.1 it is not required.First time deployments are supported

Hi,
Please give ip address for the URL.Please give till prweb only.
It is mentioned that you are using personal edition.Are the systems able to communicate with each other?
If not please make sure that they are able to communicate with each other

Thanks for your response.
I was facing some issue with my personal edition so now i am not using my personal edition as my dev i am using some other instance as my personal edition.
But after configuring everything during "Finish" step of pipepline i am getting some error.Please find the attached screen shot.
Please let me know how to proceed further

Hi All,
Now I am able to connect between DEV(8080) and orchestration(8082) server . Artifacts are getting created and its storing in Dev Repository.
Now I am trying to move Zip file to staging environment (8081) so here I have imported "PegaDevOpsFoundation" package and I changed
DMAppAdmin operator id password (same as DEV and Orchestration Authentication profile)
But that staging environment deployment is not happening .Please let me know if anything I have to add in Staging environment.

Hi All,
In staging environment i have added the password for "DMReleaseAdmin" Authentication profile (password is same as orchestration server) and
i created a new application in staging environment called "SamplePOC" build on application for this is "PegaDevOpsFoundation" .
After configuring all of this i am unable to deploy the product to Staging environment .In logs i am getting below message no proper error message also.
"Server:Staging ===============
2018-07-18 08:49:32,968 [DM release administrator] [SecondDeployment] [Deployme01.01.01] [Deployme_010101_22] INFO Remote task execution completed.

Not sure how the zip file stored in repository will deploy into staging .(my access group is having all privilege for repository)
Please suggest me how to proceed further.

Hi All,
Now i am able to complete the pipeline tasks i.e Creation of artifacts and that Zip file will be available in repository, in pipeline i can see the staging deployment status as completed. But if i go and see the staging environment my product file is not there.
Basically i have created a new application in dev and application product i am moving .
Please suggest me why i am not able to see my application in Staging environment.

Hi Sowmya,
First deployment should be manual to all candidate system, please deploy your application from Dev to staging and add pegadevopsfoundation as build on and try again.
