Issue in Savable Data Page with Data Page Structure List
Hi ,
Requirement is to save data using savable data page of type list into a data type.
Below is the configuration made,
1)Created data page with structure list at thread level,edit mode is savable,scope is thread level
2)Data save option is Activity and Activity is having single step to loop through list and save using Obj-Save .
3)Source is Report Definition
4) In Flow Action post Activity added savable data page.
I am getting below error on submit in step Obj-Save as below,
Cannot save a page with an instance of class ****-***-***-****: it is read-only
Since the data page is configured with mode as savable ,data page can be edited but on trying to save facing the issue as below.
Please let me know how can i resolve the issue apart from coping each of the page to temp page and saving the data using obj-save.

Hi Vyshnav,
Even though the data page of type Savable, if we use activity as save type, we need to write our own custom logic to save the data. I think the Obj-save on the data page is not possible, pega treated as read only page only but if we are use the database save as save type, pega will take care of saving the data to database. Generally If we want to process the data before saving into database then you can choose “Activity” option. Please see the below image and it is a OOTB rule.
