i am running into same error while imporint PegaCRMSample_DML.jar.

We are stuck with the upgrade.

On reviewing the corresponding SR, we see that it has been resolved. Support Article - SQL Code errors when importing CRM 7.31 JAR on a z/OS instance was created as a result of the investigation. Please reference that if you have the same question.
