Interogating DropDown menu is not working - mouse over events (pega robotics openspan)
Dears,
we are trying to interrogate dropdown menu web control shown in attached screenshot but doesn't work.
TARGET :: the target is to click on 'Cessione del quinto'
OUR APPROACH:
took webcontrol 'Accesso FE' >> PerformClick
took 'Per pratica' as link >> RiaseEvent (mouseOver, onclick, onblur etc) doesn't open the subtree 'Cessione del quinto'
NOTE: when the mouse is displaced from this dropdown area, this dropdown disappear
any suggestion will be highly appreciated

1. Select the page object in Object Explorer.
2. Drag the ExecuteScript method onto your automation.
3. In the script parameter, enter the JavaScript code you wish to execute. In this case, it looks like you need to execute the following;
execMenuItem('MIFEXPRA03');
4. In the language parameter, enter JavaScript.
5. Connect that method call into you your automation.

Generally speaking, these mouse-over menus cannot be interrogated directly, since they require mouse positioning. You may have to look at the source of the link and trigger whatever function or hyperlink it is triggering instead.
From your screenshot it looks like the link is executing a function; execMenuItem('MIFEXPRA03'). You should be able to call the ExecuteScript method of the page and pass that in and it should do the same thing.
