Internet Explorer session management

Hi We have a requirement in which we will be sending user an email which will have the link to open a particular case.on click on that link user will be directed to sso authentication and after that he can login and can see the details. The issue we are facing is that if he close the explorer browser without logoff and then try to click on case link the case is directly opens for him without authentication,we have to avoid that.This happens only in internet explorer.

kindly help us in resolving this issue.
