Integration with servicenow from Pega deployment manager

We have a requirement  where we need  Pega deployment manager should have a step in  pipeline  where we can call rest service (Call service now and create a ticket there.Service now has exposed a rest service for this) .Is this possible in PDM ?Is there any OOTB steps which it supports or do we need to do any custom step.

I dont find the below article very usefull.

Has anyone called rest service via PDM step?Kindly share ideas  how this can be achived
