pyTestConnectivity activity is used to check whether we are able to connect successfully to external service/ whether it is up and running or not. Always step page of this activity should be Page that contains information of the connector rule. Once this activity is triggered with this step page, automatically data will be mapped from the page and status of the service can be seen on TempStatusPage which is inside the pyTestConnectivity code.

One approach for your requirement is:

1. Create a Data Table and store the services that needs to be checked. This table should contain following attributes Connector Rule Name(pyServiceName),Connector Class(pyClassName),Service URL, Service Status, Service Check Time.

2. Write an Advanced agent that will fetch data from this data table. Prefer retrieving data using Node level data page if services list doesn't change.

Code in side Agent Activity:

Step 1: Retrieve data using data page. 

Step 2: Loop pxResults of the data page 

Step 3 : Inside loop pass pyClassName, pyServiceName of the Connector and open the connector rule using Obj-Open with some step page.

Step 4: Trigger  pyTestConnectivity activity using Call method with above step page. Once activity is executed service test results will be stored on TempStatusPage.

Step 5: Check for pyStatusMsg on TempStatusPage. If this is good then service is up and if its failing then some issue is there.

Step6: By checking pyStatusMsg update Service Status(Pass/Fail) and Service Check Time(current date time) in the table and save the instance.

To send consolidated E-mail once in a day write separate agent that retrieves  data from this table and send E-mail using SendEmailNotification/SendEmailWithAttachment.
