For installing Personal edition , do AMD processors support? has the type of processor got any effect?

The install guide can be found https://pdn.pega.com/support/downloads/personal-edition

In summary:

  • Intel-based personal computer or laptop with at least 2GB+ of free RAM running a 64-bit version of Microsoft Windows 7
  • 5GB of free disk space
  • A supported browser version:
    • Microsoft Internet Explorer version 9 or higher
    • Mozilla Firefox version 5 or higher
    • Google Chrome version 9 or higher

So yes AMD processors should be fine.
