insert / set text / set innerText to an Inpute field of DATE - not working
hi all,
I have a data input object already interrogated. i want to insert date as string value '21/01/2018'. i tried with 'set text' and 'set innerText' i can see the input value is changed but when i click on next page on web app the date is not changed at all..
Any suggestions please ? attached is a date field i interrogated and want to insert this input value '21&01/201' reading form excel file..

well it worked with me by using the following combination
focus + text + focus out + performClick on browser Ctl + pause

Need more calrity/information on this. Like the configuration of the button and the date picker .
Where you have writeen the setinntertext? What exactly your requirement is ? is it copying a date filed to from excel to some report ?

The Requirement is to copy/insert date value '21/01/2018' from excel sheet to this input web control and click on confirm button to proceed with another web page.

'FOCUS' + 'SET INNERTEXT'
'FOCUS' + 'SET INNERTEXT' +PERFORMCLICK
'SET TEXT ' + 'RAISEVENT - (onmouseover, onblur, onclick)
but no luck- i can see the string 21/01/2018 is copied to this input control but after confirming the date is not changed at all.
