Initiate user session based on Google OAuth 2 token

How can we initiate a session for a user, after verifying the token generated.

Yes... But my scenario is, User logs into google and then user tries to login to the pega application... The login screen contains "Signin with Google" button.. once he clicks on that, google sends a token to that webbrowser and we need to pass that token from web browser to a pega application. We would be sending that token to google again and once after verification received from google, how can we initiate the authenticated session for the user.

The login page should not appear. I'll look into what might be missing - but as I get it, there is a pyProfileName for the OAuth client that is needed. When found, the pyGetOAuthResource activity kicks in and that looks for the token - validates with Google and provides authenticated session.

Sorry Paul... I am unable to create OAuth2 profile for Google OAuth2.. Because, SSO checkbox is available for "Box" only.
My idea, is on successful login to google, a javascript function would be called and that retrieves the token from google and sends it to our pega application(such that an activity gets invoked) through an XMLHttpRequest. That activity authenticates the received token and if its valid, then it should start an authenticated session and reload the webpage.
