Incorrect result for the BusinessCalendar.differenceBetweenDays

Pega version: 7.1.8

When we are evaluating the following function with the inputs as below -

@BusinessCalendar.differenceBetweenDays("20181030","20181023",false,"")

The result is coming as 8 instead of 7.

The same when evaluated in Pega v7.4 environment is resulting correct result i.e., 7.

Need your help.

There are a couple of existing hotfixes in 7.1.8 that may address this:

HFix-27027 (this one in particular seems relevant)

HFix-33499
