inbound data mapping failed in Rest Service using JSON Request due to "tab"

Hi,

We have exposed Rest Service with JSON Request from Pega. When consumer is passing tab in the body, Service is throwing mapping error and in tracer it is showing inbound data mapping failed.

How can we escape this in JSON Request coming from other application. We are using Pega 7.1.8.
