Importing external jar files application - > Distribution - > Import
HI team,
i have import certain third party jar files into pega using application -> Distribution -> Import and restarted system.
After importing jar file using above mechanism, we observed slowness in system
Hence want to check if importing third party jar files like Spring , javax.transaction-api,javax.activation-api-1.2.0 etc , will it impact pega application functionality like persisting Cases , rules etc

It could potentially break certain features if your jars are conflicting with Pega OOTB jars. You should disable or remove those jars to confirm. The jars you listed are generic and likely to be conflicting with those of Pega's.

First point, you should not use any jars which conflict with Pega OOTB provided jars.
You can have a look at PegaRULES-ALERTS log to see if any alerts are generated related to performance.
Observe the PegaRULES log as well for any exceptions.
You can have a look on the below articles which will help you to do performance analysis using PAL, performance profilier or DB Trace etc.

Hi,
Please verify pega rules & pega alert logs.What all errors & alerts are present.If there is any issue with those jars then definitely there would be some errors related to that in rules logs.
