We are experiencing issue where not all emails are being processed in our application and users have to resend their email 2-3 times for the application to process and attached in the case. This case is only intermittent. Do you know if this is related to the IMAP protocol and Pega System?

Do you see exceptions in log? Also does your emails that fail have large attachments? IMAP listeners when connected to Microsoft exchange have some issues when reading emails fail due to throttling. Once the threshold level reduces, it process the emails again.
