IH import component does not fetch a column 'GUID' from Interaction history table

We have a column in IH fact - named GUID- varchar(32).

 

When i use a IH import component in the strategy and specify the list of columns I would like to import GUID column, but for some reason the column does not get imported. Is it because GUID is a data type?

Is there a reason why or is it a glitch in my code?
