If a table is sourced using data page and UI filter is applied during export all results get exported irrespective of filters

So if table layout is sourced using a data page and when we apply UI filters on it as we click on export to excel all results are exported irrespective of filter applied.We have used pxgenerateexcel in activity,created template for it so excel is getting generated and we can download it as well but filters are not being applied.Any suggestions is there any solution for this in version 8.4?
