Identify the latest version of the property from OOTB tables
Hi All,
I am developing an utility which shows property with its corresponding edit validate rule based on the search criteria. Currently this utility brings all the versions of the property from Rule-Obj-Property table.
But I would like to get the details about the latest version of the property.
Example:

In the above given data, i need the property details only for the version "01-04-01"
Can anyone please tell is there a way to identify the latest version of the property from OOTB tables.??

1) Why do you have the same property defined in multiple versions for the same class? Is this really required?
2) You can create a report definition on Rule-Obj-Property and get the rule resolved instance back for this class.

Hi Rajiv,
Thanks for the quick response.
In a scenario, where the user wants to do any modification to the property of the same class which is in locked ruleset version, user will create the same in the current available ruleset version. May be it is not always advisable to do so, just want to check if the latest version can be obtained.

I have tried your approach and it is fetching me the latest rule details. But instead of giving the property and Class name as static, is there a way to pass dynamic values?
I have a list of values in my pagelist and tried giving Parameters. But it did not work.
Can you please suggest if there is a way to pass filter data dyanmically.?

Hi Shalini,
Can you share the screenshot of how you are passing parameters? If there are multiple values, then the parameter value must contain the values separated by comma. You can also provide a valuelist property in the RHS as well.
