Based on your attachment, you already viewing the selected item than what is the point of viewing in a separate window,

If I'm wrong, are u asking about how to add a new item to the repeating dynamic layout than in that case just in control action setting add DT or Activity to add a new item to item list(pagelist)

Are you trying to display extra information of the item in the modal dialog or overlay on click of the button?

Can you please share your configuration to show the details of the item on click of the button?

When you say that it is not working property, what exactly is the behavior that you are seeing?

Without seeing some more configuration details it's difficult to say what could be the problem, but something to consider is that there are 2 different "local action" actions (see hghlighted below).  If you are using repeating data like a repeating dynamic layout then you need to use the version in the "List" category List / Open Local Action, so if you are curretly using the Launch / Local Action then you should try updating the configuration.

On click of the show button, Are you fetching the information from another data type of the selected item?

If it is from the repeating grid source, you would need to provide the screenshot of the configuration on the show button to understand the problem.
