http response code for unsupported method in Service-REST
We need to define the "405" http response code for unsupported methods in Pega platform in Service-REST rule for e.g.: options, trace etc.
Has anyone come across this requirement. Kindly advise.

Yes we implemented.
You can refer this one from Pega ootb services.
Navigation: records -> service Rest -> filter case/{id} in uri template under api service package -> go to delete method.
You can see pzmethodnotsuppported activity called.
Go through this code, implement same for your custom service

My query is about other methods which are not available in Service-REST rule for e.g. OPTIONS, TRACE
How to configure 404 error code for OPTIONS and TRACE ?

@Vikas_Agrawal for TRACE method, I see pega rerturns 405. but OPTIONS method returns 500. it is not correct. check with pega support team

Set the Property to .pyHTTPResponseCode or any parameters in unsupported Method activities and refer the same in the Response Tab of the Method in the service rule

@Vikas_Agrawal Yeah the service rule doesn't support those methods and you will not able to set the error code explicitly.
