How the zip the files in Pega SFTP Folder?

We have to create the files in SFTP folder and we need to zip all the files. There would be around 2000 files created everyday by batch process. 

Please let me know if there are any solutions to requirement similar to above.

@rrudramu @rrudramu , did you ever solve this? My first question would be how do the files arrive? Is it a Pega batch process, something on the server, or are they received by SFTP?

If Pega, some relatively straightforward Java function code leveraging the Repository API works very well. I can illustrate if needed.
