How we can update the status for a field that has to be stored in local data source

Hello Team,

I have one query to update the status for a venue whether it is available or not available based on user input the venue status has to be changed using activity.

Not Yet implemented so,I can't provide Screenshot.I am trying to explain the scenario.

In an event Management,When the date of event is provided the venues has to be displayed.Then the venue is selected by the user.Then on the same date the venue should not be displayed to user.As it is selected by the previous user.
